Blissful is... a Buddhist beatitude.

I found this in Tricycle which is a Buddhist quarterly.  It resonated with me for the day I found it was one filled with various moments of challenge and affront. I guess in reading it I felt a calming come to me and I decided that I should save it somewhere.

Blissful is solitude for one who’s content,
who has heard the gradual awakening of truth,
     who sees.
Blissful is non-affliction with regard for the world,
     restraint for living beings.
Blissful is dispassion with regard for the world,
the overcoming of the pursuit of pleasure.
But the subduing of the conceit “I am”—
That is truly the ultimate bliss.
